About Karen
Photography has always held a fascination for me, when I was little I spent a whole day trackside at Mount Panarama in Bathurst trying to catch legendary driver Peter Brock as he sped by and I was so excited that I opened the back of the camera to see the photos and spoilt the film! (Yes I know I'm showing my age now!)
It was also a way to connect with my Pop, who brought me books on photography basics and explained how to look at the world to try and frame what I saw in beautiful and creative ways.
Then two of my very best friends went out on a limb and trusted me to capture their wedding and so began the idea of Karen Allamby Photography. This passion has grown and grown, and allowed me the joy of being there as a witness through some of the very best moments of my family, friends and clients lives.
